Meet Sherese Earls

After more than seven years working as a home healthcare aide, Sherese Earls saw something that never left her: the people who gave the most care were often the last to receive any of it. Caregivers who spent their days tending to others rarely had time — or felt permission — to tend to themselves.

IdealHands LLC was born from that observation, and from a lifelong love of making things with her hands. What started as a creative outlet during off-hours — pouring resin, winding yarn, layering paint — slowly grew into something more. Friends and coworkers who saw her work kept asking the same question: "Where can I buy one?"

The answer, eventually, was: "Nowhere yet. But maybe soon."

IdealHands LLC launched as a way to merge two things Sherese cared deeply about: the craft and intention behind handmade goods, and the quiet recognition that caregivers and busy people deserve real, tangible reminders that they matter. Every product that leaves the studio carries that mission — to be a small act of care, in physical form.

Today, every piece is still made by hand, one at a time, in Columbus, Ohio. No mass production. No dropshipping. Just the kind of care you can hold in your hands.

Care for the givers

Every IdealHands product is designed with one principle in mind: the people who give the most deserve something meaningful in return. Whether it's a gift for a caregiver or a small indulgence for yourself, we believe handmade goods carry something store-bought items can't — intention.

What We Stand For

Four principles that guide every piece that gets made in the IdealHands studio.

100% Handmade

Every item is made by hand, one at a time. No mass production, no factory work — just the maker's hands and genuine care behind each piece.

Quality Over Quantity

We take time with each piece. If it doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't ship. Every customer deserves something they're genuinely proud to own or gift.

Local to Columbus

Everything is made in Columbus, Ohio — a city we call home. Supporting local makers means supporting the community that supports us back.

Built for Caregivers

The mission isn't decorative. IdealHands was built specifically for people who give care — gifts that acknowledge the unseen work of caregiving.

Made with Care

The name says it. Every step — from material selection to final packaging — is guided by the simple question: "Would I be proud to give this to someone I love?"

3–7 Day Processing

Because everything is made to order, please allow 3–7 business days before your order ships. That's the trade-off for genuinely handmade goods.
